Gilwen
arrived in France from Russia during in December of 2011. She
lives with Jade, now retired, and her house is staffed by Fred
and Marie-Agnes.
Marie-Agnès
describes her:
"Gilwen is our little Russian princess ! She was bred by
Irina Kudryavtseva, in Moscow, where we picked her up to bring
her back to Lyon. She remained very calm during the long trip.
After her arrival, like a matriochka, the famous Russian dolls,
she revealed, layer-by-layer, the various facets of her rich
personality. She is extremely agile and as observant as an owl.
She likes to watch and participate in all the activities of
the house (especially those that involve something to eat or
play with)”.
Her Slavic
soul also speaks in her way of cuddling. She has a real need
for affection and purrs so loud you can hear her across an entire
room. We call her “the model Abyssinian - demonstrative and
passionate !"
Gilwen’s
elfin name means "daughter of the elves."
Gilwen is
petite, but well proportioned. She has a very pretty sorrel
color that will continue to evolve. She has a lovely soft coat
with good ticking.
She has striking
orange eyes and a pretty feminine expression, a nicely shaped
head with large ears. She is very graceful with a lean and muscular
body, long legs and a neck that “never ends”.
