Jarod the veiled chameleon from Yemen

Jarod arrived in our home in February 2008 at the very young age of one month.

Having been misinformed of his age, I was somewhat afraid of not being able to take care of him; he seemed so small and seemed fragile. However, with much persistence and care he has grown into a big and beautiful male!

Here his evolution since his arrival at home:

Jarod now feeds on crickets, locusts and mealworms (live only). He lives in a loft especially built for him. As belongs to the family of reptiles he lives alone.

Our loves for ever

Poussy

Poussy was an all black little female who will remain forever in my heart. She passed away in October 2002.
Poussy had been with me for 15 years, sharing my joys and my sorrows. She knew exactly how to comfort me and brought me happiness and love all along the road we travelled together.
“Poussy, you're the prettiest little "house cat" I ever met and by far the smartest”.

Undomiel

Undomiel was my little lioness, all in tenderness and in cuddling.
She was our first ruddy Abyssinian and she marked our hearts with her imprint. She was Ulwen’s
firstfriend, helped bring gaiety and joy of living in our house.
Although she left us in March 2004, Undomiel was and will remain “our little ray of sunshine”.

Pistache

Our Pistache was Poussy’s daughter, she was born at home in August 1991. She left us in May 2008.
Pistache grew up alongside my daughter Julie, who was 4 years old when Pistache was born. Julie chose her name "Pistache" because of the small white spot under her nose. In her childish language "p’tite tache" (French for “little spot”) became "Pistache".
Pistache, our “royal house cat”, was the
Julie's confidant for almost 17 years, they shared a lot together.
